The Mythical Laundry Dragon

Nick’s laundry turns into a lazy dragon in his second “Reality Imagined” illustration. He paints over a photograph of his laundry basket to reveal the dragon.I was going to do laundry this weekend but there was a dragon lying in my basket!

Watch my laundry turn into a dragon.

This is my second illustration in the “Reality Imagined” series.

    Very cool!
Many years ago, I attempted to create a similar project – the world through children’s eyes – but after the first failed attempt, abandoned it… Perhaps I will try again – you inspired me!

Tanya, you totally need to try again. It sounds like a great idea! Please let me know when you post something. Looking forward to it!!

I like this one even more than the first! It shows so well how differently people can see the world.

Thanks Glen. I really enjoyed making them. I’m hoping to post the next illustration in this series Feb. 5.

That was really fun to watch (and cool result). It reminds me of when my son was little and he was scared to go into the bathroom along because of the frog monster, and we couldn’t figure out what the frog monster was until one day I was sitting on the bathroom floor while he was in the bath, and happened to look at the toilet from a three-year-old’s perspective–yikes!

What a fun story. Maybe my next “reality imagined” illustration should be a frog monster!
